The Installation Ceremony permits the Hispanic Chamber to introduce and inaugurate our new Board Members and Officers for 2017 – 2018, to the community. The Awards Ceremony gives us the privilege of recognizing outstanding citizens in our community. 

The Merced County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce

           The award will be presented at our 2017 Installation and Awards Dinner on            Friday, Oct. 6, 2017, at Gateway Gardens, 560 W. 18th St., Merced.

2017 Minimum Wage Laws - Info

Effective January 1, 2017, the minimum wage in California is $10.50 per hour for Employers with 26 employees or more. There are some employees who are exempt from the minimum wage law, such as outside salespersons, individuals who are the parent, spouse, or child of the employer, and apprentices regularly indentured under the State Division of Apprenticeship Standards.
