2015 Installation and Awards Dinner

2015 Installation & Awards Dinner

MCHCC Board of Directors and staff would like to thank all of our members, sponsors and community supporters who attended the 2015 Installation & Awards Dinner.  We are happy we were able to share the installation of four new board  directors into the Hispanic Chamber and  a great dinner with all of you!

We are especially grateful for all who participated in the silent auction. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the silent auction are used to fund the MCHCC scholarship program. Without our annual silent auction we could not help support students with their aspirations of higher education.

MCHCC recognized three individuals for their outstanding work in the community (pictured below).  Elias Gonzalez owner of  R & E Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning who is actively involved with the MCHCC as Member of the Year, Carlos Simon-Garces was awarded MCHCC Man of the Year for his outstanding work in our community, especially through the 20/30 club of Merced. Norma Cardona was awarded MCHCC Woman of the Year for her outstanding work with homeless youth in our community.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank our sponsors for supporting this event. We would like to especially thank Mr. Joe Ramirez for a wonderful job as MC during the Installation Dinner. Joe is a past president of MCHCC and has always shown this organization great support, but this year he donated $2500 to MCHCC! Joe worked very hard and won most community services hours with Rabobank this year. We are very grateful to Joe for choosing MCHCC as the organization that would receive the donation from Rabobank in his name. We also congratulate him for the love he, through his volunteer work,  has shown this community. Thank you Joe!

We thank you again for supporting the Merced County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce; our goal is to improve economic development in Merced County.

We look forward to seeing you at our future events!
