Scholarship Recipients & Ceremony

It is our pleasure to announce the scholarship recipients for 2017!

One of the Merced County Hispanic Chamber of  Commerce’s proudest contributions to our community is our scholarship program.  Annually, we provide four(4) scholarships to students graduating from Merced  County high schools.  We provide the MCHCC Scholarship ($500) to three(3) students, and our Linda  Lopez MCHCC Scholarship ($1,000) to one(1) student.

This year we had extraordinary students apply for the scholarship program, which made the application process very competitive and the job of our scholarship committee very difficult. Because of the quality of the applicants, the committee decided to provide an additional MCHCC Scholarship. MCHCC provided a total of five scholarships this year! We feel that the recipients have all worked very hard and have excelled in academics and they all deserve to be recognized.

We would like to congratulate these students for their hard work and determination. We wish them much luck and success in their university careers and future.
