Daisy's Bio
My name is Daisy Aleman, the Branch Manager at Farmers Insurance Federal Credit Union. I oversee our locations in Woodland Hills and Merced, CA. My journey with FIGFCU began in 2004 as a Loan Technician. Over the next five years, I was fortunate to grow within the organization, advancing to Lead Branch Counselor. In 2010, I was honored to be offered the Branch Manager position, a role I cherish as I work to support our members and community.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, I moved to Merced in 1995 shortly after the Northridge earthquake. Before joining FIGFCU, I worked at Bank of America for five years as a Teller. Following that, I was recruited to work at Merced Manor, a psychiatric facility, where I served as a Trust Accountant managing accounts for 96 patients for three years.
I am a proud mother of three young women and a grandmother of a granddaughter and grandson. My parents are from Zacatecas, Mexico. I am the middle child of three siblings. An interesting fact about me is that I lived in Tijuana for a year, during which I learned to speak, read, and write Spanish fluently. The experience deepened my connection to my culture and allowed me to embrace it fully with my children.
I am excited to be part of the MCHCCs Board of Directors and look forward to helping local businesses succeed in Merced.
